BIRKENSTOCK 1774 PRESENTS NORTHEAST PROVIDENCE COLLECTION

25.06.2026

The new Northeast Providence collection by BIRKENSTOCK 1774 captures the quiet ease and natural rhythm of life along the North American Northeastern coast. Honoring BIRKENSTOCK’s iconic Boston clog — first launched in 1976 and celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026 — the collection draws on the sensibility of Providence, Rhode Island, channelling casualwear heritage into elevated silhouettes and thoughtfully selected materials.

A calm, grounded palette of Cinnamon, Midnight Navy, and Ginger Brown sets a serene tone, while contrasting materials like canvas and raffia introduce texture and dimension that develop with wear. Tonal buckles and subtle detailing underscore the clarity and simplicity of each design. At the core of every silhouette, the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed follows the natural contours of the foot, providing structured support that underpins both function and form.

The Boston, BIRKENSTOCK’s iconic closed‐toe mule appears in Cinnamon and Midnight Navy smooth leather, accented with light canvas detailing for a gentle contrast.

The classic two-strap Arizona is offered in four variations: Cinnamon or Midnight Navy paired with light-colored canvas straps, and Ginger Brown or Midnight Navy paired with natural raffia straps.

The Gizeh, BIRKENSTOCK’s iconic thong sandal, is reinterpreted in two raffia-framed executions, combining natural raffia with smooth nappa leather to create a clean, structured silhouette in Ginger Brown and Midnight Navy.

The Sylt, an exclusive 1774 silhouette, is presented in Cinnamon and Midnight Navy, each with an adjustable hook-and-loop padded canvas strap in light color that brings subtle contrast to the single-strap slide.

The Naples, BIRKENSTOCK’s reinterpretation of the classic moccasin as an easy slip-on, is offered in three variations: Cinnamon with a light canvas upper, Midnight

Navy in full leather, and Ginger Brown with a wrapped raffia upper, each enhanced with moccasin-inspired detailing.

Rooted in place and sensibility, Northeast Providence unites classic forms, considered materials, and the quiet rhythm of everyday wear.

The BIRKENSTOCK 1774 Northeast Providence collection will be available at 1774.com and selected retailers worldwide.
