VALENTINO IN COLLABORATION WITH BIRKENSTOCK

A special collaboration between Maison Valentino and BIRKENSTOCK has taken place under the Creative Direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli: A conversation between Pierpaolo Piccioli, Creative Director of Maison Valentino and the footwear brand BIRKENSTOCK, where two exclusive styles of the renowned Arizona sandals for the Valentino Garavani Men’s and Women’s collections have been created.

The two exclusive sandals have been revealed on Wednesday January 16th 2019, in occasion of the Valentino Men’s F/W 2019-20 Fashion Show in Paris: an Arizona sandal in Valentino red with tonal buckles and a tonal full leather covered footbed and an Arizona sandal in total black with the iconic Valentino VLTN Logo on the side.

Valentino in collaboration with BIRKENSTOCK is a universal sign that has been included in the repertoire of the Maison: “I chose to make this collaboration with Birkenstock for the same reason people choose Birkenstock every day. No matter what you wear, who you are, no matter your gender or social background, no matter your age, your style, no matter if you care about fashion or if you do not, Birkenstock has its own universal language. I loved the idea of approaching the DNA of our Maison, represented by the individual and intimate world of Couture with something that it is so free and adaptable. The sandals will be on sale in selected Valentino boutiques worldwide and on Valentino.com and in selected BIRKENSTOCK boutiques and on 1774.com.
