Designed with a focus on durability and functionality, this new style takes inspiration from the creative and flashing hub Shinjuku. Its exceptional silhouette proves the consequent evolution and new interpretation of BIRKENSTOCK’s emblematic design language. The shoe's unique construction is designed to provide excellent traction and stability on any surface. BIRKENSTOCK’s Shinjuku comes with an update of the classic footbed – a combination of natural materials and an innovative outsole. The anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed is lined with microfiber and the Shinjuku’s optimized one-component outsole is designed to allow water to drain easily and enable street usage on concrete grounds. Flex grooves at the forefoot and a heel strike enable the foot to roll off smoothly. Its innovative sole provides great abrasion resistance and increased durability while a foam-padded high-quality nubuck heel pad adapts to the foot and makes Shinjuku an ally for everybody telling their own story and relentlessly pursuing their dreams. The shoe’s sturdy, water-repellant upper is made from highquality materials that are built to last. Other remarkable features are the newly invented, fast-opening, full-metal rust-proof buckle and a matchless stitched-on webbing which completes the outdoor-inspired shoe. The Shinjuku proudly displays the BIRKENSTOCK brand logo in big, bold lettering on the webbing. This unique design is perfect for those who love to make a statement.
