Paris, October 2025 – The new BIRKENSTOCK 1774 Becomes Berlin Celebration Collection, created by BIRKENSTOCK’s creative studio, continues the exploration of 1920s Berlin with silhouettes reimagined for the festive season.
Embodying the spirit of celebration and intimacy that defined the city’s cultural nightlife, this second chapter translates archival inspirations into tactile finishes and rich seasonal tones.
The collection highlights three of BIRKENSTOCK’s most iconic silhouettes — Zürich, Arizona, and Boston — each reinterpreted through seasonal materials and festive textures. The palette — Black, Caramel, Cream, and Leopard — references both the warmth of intimate interiors and the bold patterns of the 1920s, offering versatile ex- pressions of contemporary festivity.
The Zürich appears in long-hair cowhide in Caramel and Black. A refined house icon, its overlapping suede straps with adjustable buckles combine the sophistication of a closed silhouette with the ease of a sandal.
The Arizonaand the Bostonare presented in brushed, extra-soft shearling in Caramel and Cream, enhancing the emblematic two-strap sandal and the signature mule with tactile warmth and softness.
A bold note is struck with both styles in leopard-printed cowhide, echoing the daring self-expression of the era.
Finally, dyed black cowhide offers a minimalist counterpoint, distilling depth and refinement into timeless silhouettes.
