Together with Globetrotter – Europe’s largest independent outdoor goods retailer – BIRKENSTOCK is celebrating the launch of its outdoor collection including the new Adventure Sandals in June. Get active and savor the moment: the summer months are often all about exploring the great outdoors. And it’s now possible to do so in the new BIRKENSTOCK Adventure sandals, which boast an innovative and exceptionally durable sole for footbed-based comfort, even on rugged terrain.
Thanks to the newly developed, extremely sure-footed BIRKENSTOCK Adventure sole, your favorite sandals are now available as versatile and active models. For the very first time, a two-component polyurethane sole has been fused directly onto the original BIRKENSTOCK cork-latex footbed using cutting-edge injection technology. This results in exceptionally nonslip, low-abrasion, and flexible styles with midsole cushioning to significantly reduce impacts, as well as an ultra high-grip sole for a steady footing on all terrain. The BIRKENSTOCK footbed can once again be relied upon in the Adventure collection. Modeled on a natural footprint in the sand, it offers ample space for the toes and helps to ease the burden on the feet.
German Launch in Conjunction with Globetrotter
The new BIRKENSTOCK Adventure sandals are being launched in Germany in partnership with Globetrotter, the country’s largest outdoor goods retailer, in time for the start of the meteorological summer. In June, outdoor enthusiasts can see the benefits of the new BIRKENSTOCK sole technology for themselves at the Globetrotter stores in Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart.
Ready for the Outdoor Season – Feet First
The Milano, a BIRKENSTOCK classic, and the new Sonora model offer firm grip on uneven terrain thanks to their heel strap. The Adventure version of the Arizona is ideal for woodland and meadowland walks, with the feminine form of the Sierra model rounding off the collection.
